Work Restrictions for Student Visa Holders
Effective 1 July 2023, student visa holders in Australia are limited to working a maximum of 48 hours per fortnight while their course is in session. However, there are no work restrictions during scheduled course breaks. These guidelines are in place to help students focus on their studies and obtain a high-quality Australian education, while still allowing them to gain work experience and contribute to the workforce.
