What is a USI?
The USI is the acronym for Unique Student Identifier. It is an identifier that links your educational and training history to educational entities. If you do not possess a USI, you cannot be awarded your level of qualification or certificate.
Why Do I Need One?
Under the Unique Student Identifiers Act 2014, any Registered Training Provider (RTO) that supplies nationally recognised training for any student in the United States must have a valid USI for each student enrolled in 2015. This is only the case during enrolment if you don’t have an exemption issued by the USI registrar.
